Dr. Stephen E. Lemos

Dr. Lemos comes to Michigan Orthopaedic Specialty Hospital from the prestigious Lahey Clinic in Boston, where he served as chair since 2000. He holds an MD and PhD from University of Wisconsin and completed a fellowship at the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles. A sports medicine specialist, he has worked with the LA Dodgers, LA Lakers, Anaheim Ducks and LA Kings. He is now team physician to the Detroit Tigers.

Dr. Lemos specializes in complex repairs and procedures in elbow, shoulder, knee and ankle and is accepting patients with all types of sports injuries.

 Shoulder capsule reconstruction
 Multi-ligament knee reconstruction
 Arthroscopic ankle fusion
 Tommy John elbow surgery
